Located in Prince William County Virginia, Camp William B. Snyder encompasses 350-acres including a managed wetland. A premier camping location within the National Capital Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America our facility has been open to Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Venturers and community organizations since 2006. Whether you come to camp, enjoy a high-quality outdoor program or need a place to stay while visiting DC we are here for you.

Camp Snyder Store

In person Store Hours:

  • Thursday 10-3
  • Friday 4-7
  • Saturday 10-2

Orders may also be placed by email for Curbside pickup. Orders will be fulfilled on Thursdays and may be picked up any day of the week.

Masks are required in the Hylton Building. The camp store capacity is limited to 5 people. Please enter the store from the Hylton building lobby and exit though the rear of the building.

Small Group Camping

Thanks for choosing Camp Snyder for your Spring Small Group Camping. We’re excited to give everyone an opportunity to get outside and into the woods!

Please make one registration per household or unit.  Only one small group per campsite, 25 attendees, and no more than 50 members per scout unit can camp at Camp Snyder on a specific weekend. The groups in attendance must camp and handle activities as 2 fully separate 25 person cohort groups. This is in compliance with Executive Order 72 for the State of VA.

Day Activities

Please reach out to us at for information if you would like to plan a DAY ONLY activity for your group of 50 people or fewer indoors or 100 persons or fewer (in cohorts of 25) outdoors.
